As the Commonwealth Countries League (CCL) marks its Centenary Year (1925–2025), its commitment extends beyond education and equality — it now embraces environmental sustainability too.
In collaboration with the International Children’s Peace Assembly (ICPA), CCL is proud to support a week-long youth development programme from 16–24 August 2025, bringing together over 100 children from diverse cultural backgrounds across the Commonwealth.
A key moment of this special week will take place on Tuesday, 19 August, when CCL and ICPA will plant at least 100 trees, symbolising 100 years of impact while investing in the planet’s future.
This green initiative highlights the Commonwealth’s shared environmental responsibilities and empowers young people to take peaceful, practical action for a better world. Find out more about the event at www.icpeacenetwork.org
